[REVIEW] Primping with the Stars By Benefit
Aren't you excited to see what I find in this little
treasure box? ... I am.
Today's special is Benefits Primping with the Stars, an All-Time Greatest "Fake-Its" Kit.
I recently purchased the ‘Primping with the Stars Benefit Kit’ at Myers about a month ago and I absolutely love everything about this product ^.^ When I bought it I was like... BENEFIT! What, who, did I just buy this?! *hyperventilating*... Am I dreaming?!?!? Like I don’t know whether you’d feel the same but the feeling for me of just buying it was already too much for me to handle, just wait until you see the actual products. This was like a once in a lifetime things for me and it sucked my soul away... yeah, moving on.
Description: This dual-action primer works 360 degrees around the eyes to make concealers and eye shadows stay put. Concealers don't crease; eye shadows stay vibrant & true.
Known to hydrate the skin and contains Vitamin C & E known to help fight signs of ageing.
I honestly don't really apply Eye Primer at all, because I don't wear eye shadows that often so I didn't really know what to expect. The shade I got was light/medium, when I applied the product across my my eye area and it brightened my complexion which I thought was awesome. But near my dark circles it kind of looked too light for my skin which I was a bit sad about; I am dark skinned so I guess that could happen, it did make my skin look lighter and since it was more creamy is was harder to spread across easily compared to my other eye primers which also kinda means in a way that your eye shadows will stick to the primer as it says in its description, which is great!!
Compared to my Nude Primer, I think Stay Don't Stray's primer's consistency was much more thicker while on the other hand my Nude one is more smooth and silky as well as not tinted. So I'm not too sure what to think of this product since I'm not an expert on eye primers. But overall it was a new product that I'd love to experience more and use up :D
Honestly if I had the money I would buy the bigger version but right now I think I'm going to make this one last as long as I can because THIS. RIGHT HERE. Is a miracle *shining sound effect*
I'm a normal girl with heaps of pores hiding everywhere across my face, I'm pretty sure many can relate to this topic! I don't know what they put in here but it made me feel mind blown!
This product is originally a cream base but becomes a matte powder finish when applied to the face and damnnn it feels good too! It feels lightweight, non-greasy and very smooth on the skin so the texture is amazing. You can notice your pores and creases quickly minimised in a few seconds, of course they cannot completely vanish but you can definitely tell the difference from before and after.
This primer is made translucent so it will suit all skin types, you can even use this as a touch up over your make-up and heads up this baby is oil-free for all those with oily skin types. Plus it is travel size and something that you wouldn't mind bringing out as an extra necessity! WOOHOO!
No.3- Benefit, Some Kind-a Gorgeous (Medium)

The price of this kit was originally $59 but I got it at a
bargain price of just $29.50! I did see some reviews with people who got it
near the $30-$32 area but to me I guess it was kind of a deal and plus I got an extra 50 cents off too. Benefit to me is
like, another world. I did buy it with a gift card which kind of means I got it
for free but still its expensive stuff haha.
I thought that it was just beautiful because the products included in this kit has a little bit of everything you would use on a regular basis AND they come in travel size packaging. The Benefit Kit comes with 6 awesome products!
Oh and a big thanks to my friend who helped me in disguise. I have to say if none of those shop assistants dragged my friend up there to test out those products I would of not been able to see those wonders and end up buying the kit too, so thanks baby~
This product is basically some of their best selling merchandise put into one, giving a little taste of everything~ When you open the box they show a guide to let people know how to apply it, where, or when for the best results.
It comes in a small, cute packaging which opens up like a little treasure box which I thought was great.
Okay I was actually looking through some reviews to see what other people thought of the "fake-its" kit, and I actually discovered there was a mirror hiding behind the little tutorial they gave *surprised* I didn't even know and it just made me love it even more.

Okay you're probably sick of my rambling. Inside the kit the products are numbered from 1-6, which tells us the order of each product. Here we go go go!
No.1- Benefits, Stay Don't Stray Eye Primer

No.2- Benefit, the Porefessional Pro Balm

I don't know whether you can see the difference, but my lines on my wrist disappear in the second photo.

No.3- Benefit, Some Kind-a Gorgeous (Medium)
Some kind-a gorgeous was a new step for me and I think I've ended up really liking the product because of its build-able application. This consistency is a very silky smooth and soft and its a comes out as a very natural looking product. At first I thought it was too soft and silky and quite messy but after a few more uses, you get used to the feeling and its quite nice. The product look a lot darker in the container but when applied it looks much better, for people with lighter skin I think you can easily use this as a contouring product so thumbs up for all the multiple uses :D
I'm pretty sure I'm going to use this one up and take this around more cause its in a compact size and it's easy to apply. Woohoo~
Okay guys I know this is going to kill you mentally but I thought maybe the next three products will go into a separate post later on next week, because I realised just how long this post is ending up to be kekeke ♥
Next three are actually some of my favourites (all of them are but...) haha anyways!
